Accepted File Formats
Final advertising supplied material should be (in order of preference):
- An Illustrator CS (or lower) file or eps file with all fonts converted to outlines and all images linked, not embedded. All images have to be supplied as well;
- An InDesign, Pagemaker or PDF file with associated fonts or graphics;
- Mac Quark Xpress document (version 5 or 6) with associated fonts and graphics. Preferably the file will be saved as an eps, opened and saved in Illustrator with fonts converted to outlines;
File Formats Not Accepted
Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft Word, CorelDraw, Powerpoint, WordPerfect.
Points to Remember
- Convert all fonts to paths (save as curves or outlines).
- Text should not be saved in any pixel/bitmap-based program like Photoshop. It will not be sharp when printed.
- We cannot accept ttf (True Type Fonts) or pc fonts.
- Use tiff, not eps files for photos and other bit-mapped images. Make sure any bit-map images you send has appropriate ppi (Pixels per Inch). At 100% the graphic should be at least 266 ppi (sometimes called dpi for Dots Per Inch). Anything pulled off your web site will be 72 ppi and too low-resolution for printing.
